Key Startups and Industry Figures to Present at 2017 Neurotech Leaders Forum

Neurotech Reports, the publisher of Neurotech Business Report, announced that executives from several established and emerging neurotechnology firms will present at the 2017 Neurotech Leaders Forum. The 17th annual event will take place October 23-24 in San Francisco.

The keynote speaker at this year's conference is Thomas Insel, M.D., the former director of the National Institute of Mental Health and the co-founder and president of Mindstrong Health. Dr. Insel is a pioneer and advocate in the effort to develop objective measures of mental health.

Other featured speakers include John Parker, CEO of Saluda Medical, Jeff Erb, senior director of business development at Medtronic Neuromodulation, Scott Drees, CEO of Nuvectra, Daniel Chew, director of neural interfaces at Galvani Bioelectronics, and Joe Burnett, business leader for neurodiagnostics at Philips.

The conference will feature sessions related to obtaining funding for neurotech startups, M&A activity in the neuromodulation industry, reimbursement and regulatory issues, and opportunities in bioelectronic medicine.

Executives from several early-stage and emerging neurotech startups will also make presentations during the event. These include Dan Rizzuto from Nia Therapeutics, Tina Chang from GiMer Medical, and Daniel McDonnall from Ripple LLC.
